What is the dress code for an interview?Open
We would advise candidates to dress smartly.
What are the working hours?Open
Our office hours are 9am to 6pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 5.30pm Fridays with a 1 hour lunch break. As a Country Specialist, there is some weekend work required too, which is rotated.
How long does an interview last?Open
For a Country Specialist interview we would advise you to plan to be with us for 2 – 2½ hours. However, this will depend on the position you are being interviewed for, further details will be confirmed before attending your interview.
Will I have to take any tests at my interview?Open
This will vary depending on the position you are being interviewed for. For most roles you will be asked to complete a short psychometric survey and an aptitude test but further details will be confirmed before attending your interview.
When can I expect to receive a response after sending in my application?Open
Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to all candidates. However, we will review each application carefully and should we believe your skills and experience are a good fit for the position, we will be in touch with you directly to talk through the next steps of the recruitment process.
What is the interview process?Open
No matter which role you apply for, the interview process is pretty much the same. Typically, it breaks down into two main stages – here’s an outline of the process:
A manager for the area you’re applying for will interview you by phone. It will last around 20-30 minutes and will focus on your work and travel experience, and why you’re interested in working for us. We’ll contact you beforehand so you’re ready and prepared to receive the call.
If you succeed in the first stage, we’ll invite you to a face-to-face interview at one of our offices. A manager and a member of our HR team will interview you. We’ll also ask you to complete some short tests. Before your interview we’ll ask you to take a short psychometric survey and on the day you’ll have an opportunity to take a look around our offices.

If you aren’t able to attend an interview at one of our offices, perhaps because you’re based overseas, we can carry out an initial interview with you over Skype. Although, we’ll need to meet you in person at some stage during the interview process. Please let us know when you send us your application if this is something you’d like us to set up.
Does Audley offer work experience or placements?Open
Currently we work with a local school in Oxfordshire to offer some work experience at our Witney office, however at present we do not offer any work placements or internships.
