#I'm currently overseas, should I send my application now or later?
We ask anyone currently part way through their travels to contact us a few weeks before they are due to return, so we can consider your application in line with the vacancies we have at that time.
#None of these jobs are right for me — do you accept speculative applications?
Yes, we welcome speculative applications. Please let us know what area of work you are interested in within your application so that it is passed to the relevant department(s) for their consideration. Send us your details or call us on the numbers on our Contact Us page.
#Can you keep me up to date on jobs as they become available?
Register your email address to receive regular updates on new jobs as they are added.
#Do you accept applications from agencies?
We already deal with a select number of specially chosen agencies. We do not accept speculative contact from agencies. We know you probably have the ideal candidate on your books, but we’re afraid that is our policy.
#What benefits do Audley offer?
We’ve developed a great range of benefits for all employees. Learn more about the benefits in each office location in Our Benefits.
#What are the working hours?
Our office hours are 9am to 5:30pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 5pm Fridays with a 1-hour lunch break. As a Country Specialist, there is some weekend work required too, which is rotated.
#How long does an interview last?
For a Country Specialist interview we would advise you to plan to be with us for 90 minutes. However, this will depend on the position you are being interviewed for, further details will be confirmed before attending your interview.
#When can I expect to receive a response to my application?
Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to all candidates. However, we will review each application carefully and should we believe your skills and experience are a good fit for the position, we will be in touch with you directly to talk through the next steps of the recruitment process.
#Will I have to take any tests at my interview?
This will vary depending on the position you are being interviewed for. For most roles you will be asked to complete a short psychometric survey and an aptitude test but further details will be confirmed before attending your interview.
#What's the interview process?
Here's an outline of the process for the Travel Specialist roles:
1ST STAGE
Following your application, you will automatically be asked to complete a brief online questionnaire in order for us to get some insight into your working style. Your application is not complete until you have taken and submitted this questionnaire.
2ND STAGE
If you have the applicable skill set and travel experience you can expect to hear from our Recruitment department asking you to complete a more detailed video interview. This is an opportunity to tell us a bit about yourself, your understanding of the Travel Sales Specialist role and why you want to work for Audley. Don’t be afraid to show off and really convince us why this is the right role for you!
3RD STAGE
If all goes well with the video interview our Recruitment team will reach out directly to schedule a brief phone call. This call is primarily so we can answer any questions you may have but also for us to get to know you personally. We truly believe you are interviewing us just as much as we are interviewing you!
FINAL STAGE
The final stage will be for you to come into our office to meet us face to face. Normally these formal interviews should last about 90 minutes and will be with a member from the Recruitment team and the Hiring Manager for the role. Our interviews are comprehensive but conversational, we look for candidates who are inspired by our values and driven to be successful.
Here's an outline of the process for the non-sales roles:
1ST STAGE
Following your application, if you are successful you will then be invited to a phone interview to discuss your experience and find out more about the role you have applied for. We will arrange a time that suits so you have some time to prepare, and the call usually lasts around 20-30 minutes.
2ND STAGE
If you are successful in the phone interview we will invite you to a face-to-face interview at one of our offices. A hiring manager and a member of our Recruitment team will interview you, and depending on the role there could be a short exercise to complete. You'll also have the opportunity to take a look around our offices on the day to get a feel for our working environment.
#Does Audley offer work experience or placements?
Currently we work with a local school in Oxfordshire to offer some work experience at our Witney office, however at present we do not offer any work placements or internships.
#How long will you hold my personal data for?
With GDPR law changes we will delete any unsuccessful applications 12 months after advising you that your application has not been progressed.
If you have applied speculatively, we will hold your details for 12 months from time of initial application.
