Test Automation Engineer, London;Witney;Hybrid
Salary: £45,000 - £56,000 (Dependent on Experience)
The role can be based out of either the Witney office in Oxfordshire, the Shepherd's Bush office in London - however we offer a hybrid approach of working with a mixture of home-working and office-working.

The role
The Audley Way is our core process for selling and servicing that differentiates Audley Travel. This process is supported by a core system comprising our website, Salesforce.com, Kaptio and integrations to other applications such as commissions, finance, etc. End-end, the core system touches virtually every operational employee in Audley, therefore, it is critical that any software release is assured to be of high quality and free from defects.

The role
The Audley Way is our core process for selling and servicing that differentiates Audley Travel. This process is supported by a core system comprising our website, Salesforce.com, Kaptio and integrations to other applications such as commissions, finance, etc. End-end, the core system touches virtually every operational employee in Audley, therefore, it is critical that any software release is assured to be of high quality and free from defects.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Work with developers and QAs to embed and automate the testing framework into the build process
- Build out automated test scripts for end-to-end scenarios across a wide range of functionality and report on test coverage
- Act as the go to person to assist Scrum teams to deliver automated tests
- Work to continually innovate to improve the automation test framework and processes
- Build automated performance testing
- Execution of test scripts for the system, integration, performance and acceptance testing of new and amended systems including documentation of results
- Sourcing or producing appropriate test data
- Analyses and reports test activities and results
- Maintain, support and optimise the automated test tools and assist other team members in their use
As Test Automation Engineer you will be curious, have a thirst for knowledge and adoption of new testing capabilities, ways-of-working and continuous improvement. Additional experience required:
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team with a good understanding and support of everyone’s needs to achieve the outcome.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and offer flexibility in meeting all relevant test windows and to work proactively and consider wider business impacts.
- Extensive Salesforce automation testing experience is preferred or an equivalent platform
- Experience in evaluating and building new Automation frameworks using a variety of tooling, eg Selenium
- Proficient in micro service and API Automation, experience with Postman is preferred
- Experience writing automation tests using a coding language is a must. Preference would be Python but other languages would be considered
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Experience of working with CI/CD pipelines desirable
- ISTQB / ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing minimum
