The role
As the HR Business Partner for our US operations you will work closely with the wider HR team and partner with the President and Managing Director to implement and support the people related initiatives and change programs to deliver the business strategy. This role will build trusted relationships with leaders and managers to coach and empower them to perform their people-related responsibilities.  This is a varied, hands on role which ranges from building organisational and people capabilities, through to providing day to day operational and administrative support which delivers a comprehensive, forward thinking and efficient HR service to the business.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and deliver organisational needs. 
  • Work closely with leaders to review organisation design and to determine resourcing requirements.
  • Drive consistency of approach to managing and developing talent to support current and future organisational needs.
  • Define and review people policies and processes which support the people strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance and communication of all HR practices in line with legislative requirements.
  • Work closely with the HR team to oversee the arrangements of employee international assignments and repatriations to the UK.
  • Support the Group HR Director with the annual budget setting process and ongoing control and review.
  • Attend the staff forum with the President and Managing Director to ensure it delivers its purpose of informing and engaging with employees on company-wide topics, and the agenda items raised for discussion are relevant.
  • Deliver an effective and efficient operational and administrative HR service.
  • Use internal and external insight to drive continuous improvements to HR tools, policies and processes.
About you
You’re a proven and credible HR Business Partner with in-depth experience of delivering business results in a high growth, fast paced and global company.  

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of leading, managing and implementing HR change programmes.
  • Experience of managing organisation design, resourcing and employee relations cases.
  • Ability to build, manage and influence relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment while driving for results.
  • Strong business judgment with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • An effective, persuasive and articulate communicator.
  • A strong listener with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Organised and flexible with the ability to prioritise a high level of workload and has an eye for detail.
  • An assertive, independent and results-oriented individual with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Remains positive, calm and resilient during times of change and pressure.
  • Qualified to SPHR level or equivalent.
  • Desirable experience of ADP and Sage.
