Paid Media Manager, London

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Audley Travel are looking for a Paid Media Manager to be responsible for managing the strategy and delivery of UK market paid channels including search, social, display & re-marketing. As channel owner of UK market activity, you will own UK media budget and will be responsible for return on investment.

As part of the Paid Media team within the Performance Marketing team you will be a highly driven, results focused marketer with a strong attention to detail and understanding of marketing practices.

Working in a UK market role your day-to-day accountabilities will be market based with alignment to agreed global best practices, vital to ensure optimum performance and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Paid Media Channel Owner
    • Accountable for all paid media spend across search, social, display and re-marketing.
 
  • Channel strategy
    • Define and implement channel strategies that maximise return on investment.
    • Actively review performance, investing in the most performant areas of each channel and across channels.
 
  • Budget & demand management
    • Manage channels accordingly within agreed budgets, actively communicating with key stakeholders on performance vs budget and recommending actions accordingly.
    • Manage demand accordingly within agreed targets, actively communicating with key stakeholders on delivery vs target and recommending actions accordingly.
 
  • Performance efficiency
    • Define and implement optimisation programmes to ensure optimal efficiency of investments.
    • Work with Paid Media Lead and the US Paid Media Manager to prioritise channel executive workload and ensure efficiency of optimisation processes and workload.
 
  • Testing programme
    • Oversee a testing programme that drives continual learnings and improvement in performance of your channels.
    • Work with channel executives to implement, track and report on testing.
 
  • Strategic & Developmental Management
    • Work closely with your direct reports to understand their strengths and weaknesses & create individual development plans to guide their growth.
    • Hold regular developmental catchups and quarterly MyJourney sessions so that all reports are clear on developmental priorities and the support on offer.
 
  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Identify, prioritise & manage the delivery of agreed strategic initiatives to develop our capabilities and aid Audley’s growth.
    • Work with stakeholders and team members to drive focus and adoption.
 
  • Performance Initiatives
    • Identify, prioritise & manage the delivery of agreed performance initiatives that focus on driving growth and improving channel efficiency.
    • Work with stakeholders and team members to drive focus and adoption.
 
  • Global Ways of Working
    • Define and implement ways of working that ensure market deliverables are met and engagement across teams is high.
    • Work with local markets to understand key focuses and stakeholders and team members to drive focus and adoption.

Competencies:
  • Proven demonstrable experience required in:
    • Channel management tools – e.g. Adwords, Bing, Facebook
    • Advanced analysis
    • Budget management
    • Google Analytics
 
  • Experience Desirable in:
    • Bid management platforms – e.g. SA360, Marin, Kenshoo etc
