Marketing Intelligence Lead, London

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Audley Travel are looking for a Marketing Intelligence Lead who will be responsible for driving strategy and vision of our Marketing Intelligence team comprising data science, engineering and analysis skill sets.

The role is key in driving a data-driven culture across the Digital & Marketing department focused on developing and interpreting data sets to drive decision making and optimisation that improves marketing efficiency and generates value.

You will work closely with our Data Platforms team as ‘data-owner’ for marketing to help define requirements in terms of datasets, technology and resourcing.

As leader of the Marketing Insight team within the Performance Marketing team you are a highly driven, results focused marketer with a strong attention to detail and understanding of marketing practices.

Working in a global role you will work collaboratively with the UK & US marketing teams driving and delivering global best practice in measurement, attribution, data science and engineering to improve marketing efficiency and drive growth.


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Marketing Intelligence Strategy & Vision
    • Working with the Head of Performance Marketing develop and implement a Marketing Insight Strategy & Vision that supports Digital & Marketing and the wider business in understanding marketing impact and enabling data driven decisions that deliver business efficiency and growth.
 
  • Measurement Framework Development
    • Develop and implement a Measurement Framework enabling teams, channels, platforms and content a clear way to measure their impact and enable data driven decision making.
 
  • Channel Measurement Strategy
    • Work with Channel Owners & Heads of Marketing to develop & implement a Channel Measurement Strategy that enables clear understanding of performance and optimisation opportunities.
    • Drive adoption across markets ensuring global consistency.
 
  • Platform Measurement Strategy
    • Work with Platform Owners to develop & implement a Platform Measurement Strategy that enables clear understanding of performance and optimisation opportunities.
    • Drive adoption across markets ensuring global consistency.
 
  • Content Measurement Strategy
    • Work with Content Owners to develop & implement a Content Measurement Strategy that enables clear understanding of performance and optimisation opportunities.
    • Drive adoption across markets ensuring global consistency.
 
  • Self-service Measurement & Analysis Strategy
    • Working with the US & UK Performance Marketing Analysts develop a Self-service Measurement & Analysis Strategy that enables teams to interpret their own performance and deliver actionable insight.
 
  • Strategic & Developmental Management
    • Work closely with your direct reports to understand their strengths and weaknesses & create individual development plans to guide their growth.
    • Hold regular developmental catchups and quarterly MyJourney sessions so that all reports are clear on developmental priorities and the support on offer.
 
  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Identify, prioritise & manage the delivery of agreed strategic initiatives to develop our capabilities and aid Audley’s growth.
    • Work with stakeholders and team members to drive focus and adoption.
 
  • Global Ways of Working
    • Define and implement ways of working that ensure market deliverables are met and engagement across teams is high.
    • Work with local markets to understand key focuses and stakeholders and team members to drive focus and adoption.

Competencies:
 
  • Proven demonstrable experience required in:
    • Data & analysis management roles
    • Data engineering & data science
    • Marketing analysis
    • Marketing measurement techniques
    • Data visualisation tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau
 
  • Experience Desirable in:
    • Marketing channel management
    • Programming languages
    • Marketing leadership
    • Travel industry
