Human Resources Coordinator (Fixed term contract), Oxfordshire

Salary: Dependent on experience

**Please note, this is a 9 month fixed term contract**

Using your existing HR experience, you will be the first point of contact in the UK office for all HR queries and to deliver a comprehensive, professional and efficient HR service to Audley Travel. This is a HR Coordinator role which will involve advising managers on HR best practice, Administration and Data Analytics. You will have strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

What will I be doing in the role?
  • Work with the Resourcing team to ensure our HR system (Basecamp) is updated with all new starter information
  • Handle the New Starter process (new starter documentation, book new starters accommodation, conduct HR new starter induction)
  • Produce letters for all people changes eg promotions, transfers
  • Manage all HR processes such as maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and sickness absence
  • Co-ordinate the leaver process including recording data and analysing exit interview data to identify trends
  • Work with Finance to ensure close link with Payroll
  • Administrative support for annual salary reviews and Bonus payments
  • Policy and procedures- answer queries and update as and when required
  • Own the HR Helpdesk with regard to all General HR tickets responding quickly to the employee and/or escalating it to the HRBP or Head of HR
  • Produce a Dashboard for all key metrics on a monthly basis
  • Assist with employee engagement surveys and the Annual AGM
  • Provide HR information for The Post newsletter and UK company meetings
  • Support line managers with initial performance/conduct concerns/queries
  • Handle first level disciplinary/grievance issues and conduct necessary investigation meeting as and when required
What do skills and experience do I need for this role?

Essential:

  • HR advisory and administration experience, preferably within a fast paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of HR Employment Law
  • Experience of HR processes including on-boarding
  • Experience of maintaining records accurately and effectively
  • Experience of working with a high volume of work
  • Extremely organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to communicate with all types of people and create a positive working relationship
  • A motivated and committed individual with a desire to work to the highest of standards
  • Enjoys a challenge and is comfortable with change
  • Outgoing and cheerful person with a professional manner
  • A flexible team player with a high level of initiative
  • A trustworthy and honest person who appreciates confidentiality

Desired:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in a HR discipline
  • Experience in using a HR software e.g. Sage
  • Has an interest in travel
  • CIPD part qualified
