Regional Product Manager, Oxfordshire & London

Salary: Dependent on experience

As our Regional Product Manager – Themes (RPM) you will enhance the client experience via the delivery of inspiring and commercially focused product and relevant documentation across a range of travel themes. The role requires pro-active collaboration with product, sales and non-sales teams across all source markets.

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Development

  • Be at the forefront of product development through regular communication with sales and product teams, tourist boards and suppliers; the analysis of competitor product offering and marketing communication and constant review of client feedback
  • Position product themes with client experience at heart
  • Ensure that product selection and costing is applicable for UK, US and any future new source markets

Quality Control

  • Seek out, review and act on Country Specialist, supplier and client feedback to ensure product selection and documentation is accurate and in keeping with Audley standards
  • Work with suppliers to deliver excellence locally taking any appropriate action as required
  • In conjunction with the Operations department ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met when sourcing and developing product

Supplier Relationships

  • Build strong relationships to ensure we are working with the best suppliers to deliver commercial gains and the very best client experience
  • Promote a focus on product development and Audley experiences with suppliers to encourage initiative and research on our behalf  
  • Work with sales teams and finance to ensure timely response to supplier payment demands

Procurement & Commercial

  • Work with Head of Purchasing to develop procurement strategy to deliver effective quote and booking process to meet Audley expectations
  • Complete contractual reviews in line with Audley procedure
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms complete with competitive rates, marketing/fam support and override scheme

Product Content

  • Co-ordinate content selection and timely delivery of marketing and PR tasks to include production of Traveller magazine and brochures with the Marketing department and relevant sales teams
  • Take responsibility for updating text for relevant sections of the website in conjunction with E-Commerce Dept and Product Teams
  • Co-ordinate creation and regular refinement of Audley documentation incl quotes and final itineraries to ensure consistency of style and quality
  • Enhance client experience with interesting and relevant features  
  • Actively seek out, package and propose new product ideas, value add experiences and special offers for sales teams, marketing and web use

Product knowledge & information sharing

  • Keep abreast of product via tourist boards, suppliers, trade show visits,  Country Specialist and client feedback and wider market intelligence
  • Provide regular product training and support to sales and product teams across all source markets. Be available as a point of reference
  • Plan and deliver familiarisation trips taking responsibility for product mix cost management and post trip training. Co-ordinate with aviation to secure flights and sales managers to establish objectives


  • Work closely with Product Teams across the business
  • Coach, direct and guide a Product Administrator Create a positive and supportive environment
  • Actively reflect on process and seek to embrace business best practice
  • Assist where requested to resolve operational or emergency situations
