- I am currently travelling and not due to return to the UK for another 6 months, at which point I will be looking for full time employment. Can I send my CV to you now or shall I send it when I’ve returned?
-
We ask anyone currently part way through their travels to contact us a few weeks before they are due to return, so we can consider your application in line with the vacancies we have then.
- None of these jobs are right for me – do you accept speculative CVs?
-
Yes, we welcome speculative CVs. We’re particularly interested in experienced travel sales professionals who want to develop their careers further. Please let us know what area of work you are interested in within your covering letter so that it is passed to the relevant department(s) for their consideration. Contact us at the address above or at work@audleytravel.com, send us your CV or call 01993 838 020.
- Can you keep me up to date on jobs as they become available?
-
Register your email address to receive regular updates on new jobs as they are added.
- Do you accept applications from agencies?
-
We already deal with a select number of specially chosen agencies. We do not accept speculative contact from agencies. We know you probably have the ideal candidate on your books, but we’re afraid that is our policy.
- When can I expect to receive a response after sending in my application?
-
We aim to get back to all applicants to confirm whether they have, or have not, been successful in reaching the next stage of the recruitment process. Typically, this can take about two weeks from receipt of your application although we experience a high volume of applications at some periods of the year, so it could sometimes take longer.

Our office hours are 9am to 6pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 5.30pm Fridays with a 1 hour lunch break. As a Country Specialist, there is some weekend work required too, which is rotared. You 'd probably end up working 10-12 weekends a year, but you get time off in-lieu.
- What is the interview process?
Details can be found on the interview notes page »
- How long does an interview last?
-
This will depend on the position you are being interviewed for. For a Country Specialist interview we would advise you to plan to be with us for 2½-3 hours. For other positions, expect to be here for between 1½-2 hours.
- Will I have to take any tests at my interview?

Again, this will vary depending on the position you are being interviewed for. Country Specialist applicants will be required to complete a psychometric survey on-line and a series of short written and numerical exercises including an aptitude test.
